COVID-19 Response

May 22, 2020

During the COVID-19 pandemic, M&C Foundation worked closely with volunteers, local partners, and community members to provide emergency food and essentials support to vulnerable individuals and families affected by the crisis.

As many people faced financial uncertainty, isolation, and difficulties accessing essential supplies, we recognised the importance of providing immediate community assistance during this challenging period. In response, we established a community food distribution service to help support those most in need, including elderly residents, vulnerable individuals, low-income families, and people unable to leave their homes safely.

We understand that obtaining everyday essentials became increasingly difficult during the pandemic, particularly for elderly community members and vulnerable households. Together with our volunteers and supporters, we worked hard to ensure that families could access food, groceries, and basic necessities during uncertain times.

Our volunteers played an important role in helping distribute food parcels, providing outreach support, and assisting members of the community who required additional guidance and wellbeing support throughout the pandemic period.

At M&C Foundation, we remain grateful to everyone who supported these efforts and helped strengthen community solidarity during such a difficult time. The pandemic highlighted the importance of compassion, cooperation, and community support, and we are proud to have stood alongside local families when support was needed most.
